Kaylee Stafford competed at the Class 1 State Championship in Girls Discus in Jefferson City, MO on Saturday, May 20, 2023.
Kaylee came into the competition seeded at 14th place out of 16 girls. In order to medal at the State level, you must place 8th or better.
Kaylee had two PR's today (personal records): one was just over 95 feet and the other was a little over 102 feet. That throw sealed 7th place for her, earning her a spot on the podium in the middle of Adkins Stadium! She also earned All-State Honors with her performance today!
What a way to wrap up your high school Track and Field career! Marquand-Zion is so very proud of you! We love you and will miss you but can't wait to see what you do at MAC!
